Dragon Boat Racing is an exciting activity hosted at Warwick Boats. Whether you are looking for a team building activity, group challenge, or just an exciting trip out, our dragon boat race is safe, enjoyable and suitable for complete beginners.

Timing and teamwork are essential! It’s not all about the power!

Dates

Subject to availability sessions can be booked upon your desired date. Generally Dragon Boating is run between March – October.

This session is held at Warwick Boats (minimum age 10+).

Event Format

We can operate races starting from a minimum of 14 people up to a maximum of 400 approx. Each team has a drummer, and between 12 and 20 paddlers. We can host a maximum of 24 teams approx. All events are tailored to your group number maximising racing time with the fastest teams going through to a grand final.

What Your Event Includes

We provide the dragon boats, paddles, buoyancy aids, safety boat cover, qualified helms, & river marshals. Toilets, changing rooms and showers are available on site.   We provide all event safety including necessary risk assessments, £5m public liability insurance and operate according to British Dragon Boat Association guidelines.

After your event why not have a party? We have barbecue facilities on site with covered outdoor seating area which can be used we provide the coals but not the chef or food.

Booking

Initially, phone or e-mail to arrange dates/times and check availability. We can make a provisional booking and reserve your slot in the diary. To confirm your booking, we require a deposit of approximately 50% of the expected total (if the start date is more than 2 weeks ahead) or full payment if within 2 weeks of the start. Final confirmation of numbers and full payment is required at least a week in advance of the session or the start of the course. This allows us to make sure we have the correct number of staff in place for your session. We can accept payment either by cash, card, or bank transfer. For schools/colleges an official purchase order is also acceptable to confirm your booking.  We are unable to accept individual payments from course participants on our discounted youth group/school prices. Prices shown above are per person.With a minimum of 13 per boat.
